| The Department of Human Resources is currently made up of four sections: |

| 1. Planning and Organisation |
| This section maintains computer records of the authorised complement of the various sections of the Health Division. It submits monthly employment returns and other returns containing statistical data about the employment situation in the Health Division. |

| 2. Resourcing |
| This section processes the appointment, recruitment and promotion of personnel in various grades. It handles the work involved in the assimilation, progression and promotion of employees as a result of the various agreements signed with the Unions. |

| 3. Employee Relations |
| This section processes reports on cases of Injury on Duty in respect of Health employees; requests for Medical Boards on behalf of Ministries, Government departments, Corporations and other organisations in connection with retirements and reinstatement of public officers; applications by Health employees for Private Work and Police Licences; cases requiring disciplinary action. This section is also responsible for Industrial Relations |

| 4. Staff Development |
| This section is handles the training of Health employees both locally and abroad, as well as clinical attachments in hospitals abroad. |
