“The Director General (Resources and Support) will give direction to the Directorates, entities and units falling within the Resources and Support Division and will be responsible for the provision and enhancement of resources and support services to the other Divisions within the Ministry, particularly in areas of financial and human resource management, general administration, capital projects and office management. It will also be the remit of the Director General to provide direction to other line Directorates and entities within the Ministry in the formulation of objectives and the preparation of Business, Financial and Operational Plans in line with the Ministry’s policy, strategy, regulations and standards. The Director General, besides coordinating the development of a consolidated HR Plan for the whole Ministry, will also play a leading role in maintaining an ongoing process of consultation with the other Divisions in so far as capacity building of human resources is concerned.
